• Keep it Dry: 
  • Water and humidity are alloy jewelry's biggest enemies.
  • Remove it before showering, swimming, or washing your hands.
  • Sweat also breaks it down so avoid wearing during intense workouts as the salt in sweat accelerates tarnishing and can cause the metal to turn your skin green.
  • Always put your jewelry on last - after your lotion, perfume, hairspray, and makeup have completely dried. The chemicals in beauty products quickly corrode alloy metals.
• Cleaning it Safely:
  • Because alloy jewelry is often plated, harsh chemical cleaners will strip away the finish.
  • Daily maintenance: after wearing, gently wipe each piece with a soft, lint-free cloth (like a microfiber cloth or an old cotton t-shirt) to remove surface oils and sweat.
