Custom Decal Requests

Please send an email to enchantedgothdecals@gmail.com with your answers to the following questions regarding your custom decal request:

  1. Is the artwork you're requesting copyrighted? You can do a basic Google search to find out if anything is copyrighted. We do not do customs for any copyrighted materials — it's not worth risking a lawsuit. This includes: movie images, character art, logos of any kind, album and book cover art, etc. Even fan art is considered derivative and covered under copyright law.

  2. If the answer to #1 is yes, we're sorry — we cannot create your custom decals unless you have signed permission from the original copyright holder. In that case, we will need a copy of that permission. You can email the copyright release to enchantedgothdecals@gmail.com. 

  3. If the answer to #1 is no, please answer the following:

    1. Are you providing the artwork to be used?
    2. If yes, is it high quality 300dpi, print ready?
    3. If it's print quality, please email it to enchantedgothdecals@gmail.com
    4. Note: Additional fees may be charged if we need to spend time upscaling the quality and editing images to be print ready.

  4. If you're not providing the artwork and we need to source art:

    1. Exclusive use: You'll be charged the full cost of the artwork sourced, on top of regular production costs.
    2. Open to shop listing: If we think the decal theme is something other customers may be interested in and decide to offer it in the store, we won't charge you the cost of the artwork. Our standard decal prices will apply, and the sheet will be laid out in our usual sizing options.

  5. Regarding the decals themselves, please provide the following information:

    1. Theme of the decals (if we're sourcing the art):
    2. Do you prefer full decal or clip art?
    3. How many different images would you like (in the event it's an exclusive option)? Example: a whole sheet of 1–2 images, or 16 different images in medium size instead of the 8 duplicated images we normally do, etc.
    4. What length/size? Note: Decals will be laid out in our usual template sizes/format. If a different format is required, additional charges for time to build a new template will apply.
    5. White or Clear Decal Paper?

  6. We will send you up to 2 proofs included in the agreed-upon rate, provided before we begin production. Additional revisions will incur additional charges.

Rates

  1. Non-exclusive (we think it will sell in the shop): $6/sheet as normal
  2. Exclusive — you provide print-ready art (we just size and drop into our usual template): $10/sheet
  3. Exclusive — we source the art: $10/sheet + cost of artwork
  4. Exclusive — you provide art that needs upscaling/editing: $10/sheet + time for upscaling, to be agreed upon before the project starts based on estimated time to get art print ready
  5. Custom requests accepted based on current workload etc. We may not always be able to accommodate depending on volume, time of the year etc.
